Why Lil' Orbits.
50 years in the same building. Factory direct. No franchise fees. Real advisors on the phone. Made in Minnesota by a family that's done this since 1974. Here are the questions we get asked the most — with the short, honest answers.
The Short Version of the Long Story
Five questions cover most of what people want to know before they pick up the phone. Tap any of them to expand. If your question isn't here, the form at the bottom of the page goes straight to an advisor.
Are there franchise fees with Lil' Orbits?
No. Lil' Orbits is not a franchise. There are no royalty fees, no territory restrictions, no required branding, and no ongoing obligations. You buy your equipment once, and the business is yours.
Every dollar you earn after that stays with you. Use our name, use your own name, operate where you want, set your own prices, run the hours that work for your life. We're the supplier — not your partner, not your parent company, not your boss.
Why buy mini donut equipment direct from the manufacturer?
We are the only US source for Lil' Orbits equipment. No dealers, no middlemen, no third-party repair runaround. You talk to the people who build the machines, you get factory direct pricing, and you get factory direct service for the life of your equipment.
When something needs attention — a question, a part, a warranty claim — you're calling the same building where your machine was assembled. That tends to make problems shorter.
Are Lil' Orbits advisors salespeople?
Our advisors are not salespeople. They're industry operators who have helped thousands of customers spec out the right machine, the right cart, and the right mix order. They're paid to give honest advice — including telling you when a smaller machine or a different setup is the right call for your situation.
We review every equipment order before it ships. Your advisor will confirm your configuration, power requirements, and shipping option at no extra charge. This is the most important purchase of your new business. We want to make sure it's right.
Are Lil' Orbits donut machines made in the USA?
Yes. Every Lil' Orbits machine is hand-built in our factory in Champlin, Minnesota. We've been family-owned and operated since 1974 — three generations of the Anderson family, in the same building, doing the same thing.
American steel. American labor. American warranty support. Every machine carries a full lifetime warranty to the original owner.
Are there mini donut business programs for women and veterans?
Yes. Lil' Orbits is a certified woman-owned and veteran-owned business, and we actively support women entrepreneurs and veterans starting their own operations.
Ask your advisor about financing options through SBA loan programs, the Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC), and TriQuest Capital. These are designed for these communities and can make the math work for first-time business owners.
